Truro, N.S. -  With this being the third and final workshop for the rural transport electrification initiative, attendees were given one more opportunity to share their views and ideas for developing and incentivizing electric transportation in rural Nova Scotia. While the same activities as previous workshops took place, this workshop was slightly adjusted to address interest in electrifying municipal vehicle fleets in Colchester County. Through bringing together industry experts, municipal staff, and decision makers, a wholistic view on developing electric rural transportation was achieved. As no more workshops are scheduled, CART members are now hard at work developing a final report based on findings from the workshops, which will be delivered to stakeholders upon its completion.
